The Effect Club
We are sister clubs at both Hillsdale High School and San Mateo Middle College with the same mission to address poverty and gender inequality in Guatemala.
Social Justice, Not Charity
In raising funds for business microloans and education, we aim for women to uplift themselves and their families out of poverty, planting the seeds of financial security, not dependency.
Namaste Direct
We partner with and donate our funds to the NGO Namaste Direct based in Antigua, Guatemala that supply women with the loans and business education.
